ONCE UPON A TIME, on a James Street corner, a lovely barista and a spicy Colombian chef fell in love in a little cafe…After spending years at this little cafe they were given the opportunity to combine their love of snacking, brilliant customer service and passion for hospitality to build what is now known as Blue Bear Coffeehouse.

It has been our dream to create an amazing little breakfast spot that delivers breakfast that is not only delicious but leaves you feeling like you’ve had a great big snack hug. We love to snack and love getting excited about food so we love to see the same in our customers. Will is always creating some scrumptious combination that is bound to hit you in the comfort zone.

What makes our corner even more special, is the friends we have picked up along the way. We love the sense of community and having a space that feels like home - we’ll never be short of a cuddle or a chat with your morning coffee.
